2023 Topps Ermsy Entertainment Blend Look ‘n See has the artist mashing up more trading card lines, this time adding a bit of history to the mix as well.
The online-exclusive release is a follow-up to the previous year’s debut and is only available through the Topps website in six-card boxes.
The main base set, which contains 20 cards, combines Garbage Pail Kids with 1952 Topps Look ‘n See, which highlighted different historical figures. Boasting Ermsy’s colorful artwork, this new set pairs a classic GPK character with an inventor, celebrity or other real-life figure that they share a connection with. For example, Adam Bomb is joined with J. Robert Oppenheimer, the man largely behind creating the atom bomb. Nasty Nick is paired with Dracula author Bram Stoker.
Base cards have four levels of foil parallels: Blue (/49), Green (/25), Red (/10) and Gold (1/1).
B Name Variations also exist. However, instead of expanding the main set these are inserts here, available in smaller quantities.
Mars Attacks and Wacky Packages each have five insert cards where they’re blended with Look ‘n See.
Each 2023 Topps Ermsy Entertainment Blend box has one parallel or insert.
