Amy Schumer joked that she should’ve gotten Emily Blunt’s role in Christopher Nolan’s epic ‘Oppenheimer.’ Blunt was cast as Kitty, the wife of J Robert Oppenheimer, who is played by Cillian Murphy in the film. Schumer shared her reaction to watching both ‘Barbie’ and ‘Oppenheimer’ on Instagram. “Enjoyed watching ‘Barbie’ and ‘Oppenheimer’ but I think I should have played Emily Blunt’s role,” Schumer posted. The 42-year-old said “do better Hollywood” alongside a photo of herself wearing a large sun hat and sunglasses. ‘Oppenheimer,’ which has been tipped for Oscar success, grossed a whopping $82 million domestically in its opening weekend, says IMDBPro. While on Watch What Happens Live, Schumer revealed that she was booked to appear in the ‘Barbie’ movie, but was forced to withdraw. “I think we said it was due to scheduling conflicts. But it’s really just creative differences. But there’s a new team behind it now,” said Schumer. Schumer was considered for the film in 2016, but departed in 2017 before director Greta Gerwig became involved.
