We are both saddened and shocked at the incident that occurred on our Portland Campus this morning. The Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office has a Student Resource Officer stationed at each of our campuses. Our Portland Campus SRO responded immediately and apprehended the suspect quickly. The student who was injured was transported to a local hospital. We appreciate the quick response of the sheriff’s office as well as the Oklahoma City Police Department. A school resource officer provided aid before the victim was taken to a hospital. Their condition and any other information about the victim have not been released.
