Volleyball to play doubleheader Saturday, travel to Johnson C. Smith Monday

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.- The Winston-Salem State University women’s volleyball team will travel to Ferrum, Virginia, to play a doubleheader against Ferrum College then Carolina University. The Rams will play Ferrum first at 9:00 a.m., then Carolina University at 11:15 a.m. WSSU will then travel to Charlotte, North Carolina to face off against Johnson C. Smith on Monday evening at 6 p.m.

Rams Facts

Scouting the Bruins
The Bruins defeated Pfeiffer University in straight sets (25-18, 25-21, 25-23). Karma King leads in kills and assists with 87 and 227. Rebecca Walker leads in aces with 21. Desirae Pisano leads in digs with 121. Camilla Garner leads with blocks (14).

Scouting the Golden Bulls
The Golden Bulls fell to Claflin 3-2 (25-16, 25-18, 25-15, 25-22,15-9). Camri Goodwin leads in kills with 70. Yasmine Cannon leads in assists with 163. Essence Peterson-Rain leads in aces with 13. Monique Reid leads in digs with 120. Randi Neal leads in blocks with 12.

CIAA Pre-Season/Poll
The Rams were picked fourth overall in the CIAA.
