Belmont County tourism shines with recognition at Ohio Travel Association’s Ruby Awards

Belmont County Tourism won two state level awards at the Ohio Travel Association’s Ruby Awards, including first place for a print advertising series with a flawless designation.

It also was awarded a citation of excellence for its website.

“We are so happy that we’re being recognized for the work we’re doing,” Belmont County Tourism Executive Director Jackee Pugh said. “But really that’s reflecting on what’s happening here in Belmont County. It’s not just the work of the tourism office, it’s that we’re promoting the stuff happening here.”

The Ohio Conference on Travel is the state’s largest conference for tourism industry professionals.

This year, there was a record-high entries for the awards and Belmont County Tourism walked out a winner.
