Navarro College Trustees recognized members of the Navarro College marketing and finance teams Thursday, at a regular Board Meeting.
Vice President of Finance Theresa Thomas and her team earned a Certificate of Achievement from the Government Finance Officers Association, presented to Navarro College for excellence in financial reporting for the twenty-first consecutive year.
Executive Director of Marketing and Public Relations Stacie Sipes and her team earned several awards in various categories including website and graphic design as well as radio advertisement single and series award which highlight Navarro College Students and programs during a recent Marketing Conference held in Colorado Springs.
Sipes credited her team for the successes, as well as the students, administration, and staff for providing the Marketing and Public Relations team so much to work with.
The Marketing and Public Relations team assists in telling the stories of Navarro College the students and staff.
The Navarro College website now has 1,600 pages of content which highlights the work that is ongoing at Navarro College.
The Marketing and Public Relations team earned two gold awards as well as two Silver and a Bronze award in various categories.
Trustees also approved routine enrollment and personnel reports and received routine financial updates.
Trustees also approved the consent agenda before adjourning into Executive Session where no action was taken.
