  • Pinned Riley Halal of Brown at 2:36, Joe Fongaro of Rutgers at 4:48 and Rich Treanor of Army West Point at 3:57 to advance to the title bout
  • In the finals, he used a late takedown to notch a hard-fought 4-1 win over teammate Tyler Kasak
  • The two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree earns the first Wrestler of the Week Award of his career

285 pounds – Gr. – Rechitsa, Belarus – Northfield Mount Hermon

  • Went 4-0 en route to 2023 heavyweight title at the Black Knight Invitational, outscoring his opponents 45-6 with two tech falls and a pin on Sunday at West Point
  • Opened the weekend with a 4-1 decision over No. 18 Hunter Catka dual against No. 8 Virginia Tech on Friday in Piscataway
  • Defeated No. 23 Cory Day (Binghamton), 5-2, to claim the individual title
  • Earns the first Wrestler of the Week Award of his career
