- In the finals, he used a late takedown to notch a hard-fought 4-1 win over teammate Tyler Kasak

- Went 4-0 en route to 2023 heavyweight title at the Black Knight Invitational, outscoring his opponents 45-6 with two tech falls and a pin on Sunday at West Point
- Opened the weekend with a 4-1 decision over No. 18 Hunter Catka dual against No. 8 Virginia Tech on Friday in Piscataway
- Defeated No. 23 Cory Day (Binghamton), 5-2, to claim the individual title
- Earns the first Wrestler of the Week Award of his career
