JOSH LIPTON: And time now for what to watch next week. On the earnings front, Oracle, Adobe, and Costco among the key names reporting next week. For the software giants, investors will be watching for updates tied to artificial intelligence and the cloud. As for Costco, it’s all about the consumer and whether the warehouse retailer sees weakness for the current quarter.

Shifting to the economy investors, bracing for the next look at inflation with CPI data coming out on Tuesday, analysts forecasting a slight increase for November. Also, on the calendar next week, PPI and retail sales.

But the big event, of course, of the week, that’s going to be the fed’s last policy meeting of the year. Fed Chair Jerome Powell will be giving a news conference after the decision. But the market widely expecting the central bank will hold rates steady.
