BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS
************************

As a mentorship organization, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Grey Bruce and Western Simcoe believes in investing in the power and potential of all youth and our mentorship programs do just that. With both in-school and community-based programs, we ensure children and youth are supported to overcome adversities and that both youth and families have a place to turn all year long.

This holiday season, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Grey Bruce and Western Simcoe has three simple ways individuals and businesses can become a part of this vital work:

WestJet Raffle Tickets

Each year WestJet generously donates one roundtrip flight for two guests to any regularly scheduled WestJet destination.

Since this fundraiser allows us to raise funds with minimal overhead costs, each raffle ticket purchased directly supports our mentoring programs.

In the spirit of ‘adventure meets philanthropy’, purchase some tickets and see if your lucky number is called. The winner will be announced Dec. 18. Tickets can be purchased online until then.

WestJet Gift of Flight 2023 – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Grey Bruce

Monetary Donations

Donations go towards supporting local youth and families all year long. And we have the stats to show how important our mentorship programs are.

Youth in our programs are 17 per cent more likely to be gainfully employed and earning 13 per cent more on average. They are also 50 per cent more likely to volunteer and 13 per cent more likely to give to charity. Together we can create flourishing communities.

Donations can be provided online or in person.

Food-Focused Gift Cards

We will offer these to local families that would immensely benefit from the contributions.

Did you know that 1 in 5 people in Grey Bruce experience food insecurity and Big Brothers Big Sisters youth and families are no different.

Gift cards can be dropped off at the Harmony Centre Owen Sound office until Dec. 18 or pick-ups can be arranged.

Your donations, purchase of WestJet tickets, and willingness to spread the word make all the difference. The possibilities you see are the ones we’re creating together. Thank you for investing in our community.
