Luke Combs Says Sorry With Cash After Suing Fan By Mistake | Entertainment

Date:

Luke Combs has apologized after he accidentally sued a fan in federal court and achieved a $250,000 judgment against her. This case concerns Nicol Harness, who sold Luke Combs mugs on Amazon. Combs apologized on Instagram to Harness after discovering she was ordered to pay damages, despite only selling 18 tumblers for a total of $380. This all came before she realized she had been sued, with Combs saying the situation “makes me absolutely sick.” “We do have a company that goes after folks only, supposedly large corporations operating internationally that make millions and millions of dollars making counterfeit tee-shirts…,” explained Combs. A total of $5,500 was frozen in Harness’ Amazon account, and Combs said he was “going to double that.” Harness suffers from congestive heart failure, so the singer has said that he will sell official tumblers to help pay for her medical bills.
