Entertainment Adele, Kerry Washington, Dua Lipa, more stars attend THR gala By: Global News Date: December 7, 2023 The Hollywood Reporter’s annual Women in Entertainment breakfast gala on Dec. 7, 2023, was a star-studded affair. Not only did the event celebrate Adele and Kerry Washington, honoring both with prestigious awards, but it also celebrated high school seniors from underserved communities in the greater Los Angeles area. As part of the breakfast, singer Camila Cabello, “Barbie” star Dua Lipa, Carrie Fisher’s daughter Billie Lourd and “Killers of the Flower Moon” actress Lily Gladstone handed out more than $1 million in university scholarships to students participating in THR’s Women in Entertainment Mentorship Program, now in its 14th year. Adele received the Sherry Lansing Leadership Award from Helen Mirren and Washington received the Equity in Entertainment Award presented by Ariana DeBose.
