Retail and technology giant
Amazon’s 2022 U.S.-booked air volume was closer to pre-pandemic levels, and the
online retail giant tops BTN’s list of business travel spenders for the second
year. Amazon Travel & Events continues to focus on improving
the customer experience across all programs. The organization is prioritizing
changes within its infrastructure to scale to demand, including new travel agency
services and support across the globe from BCD Travel. As the program
transitions to a new service provider, it is also
relaunching technologies and user interfaces which
provide greater capabilities for trip management.

Similarly,
the organization has restructured its meetings and events program to support
both onsite and offsite events and has expanded services to support the global
footprint. A streamlined intake process is enabled to identify customer
requirements and customize support for small to large scale events. The
team also has recently refined its global travel and events policies for
clarity with an increased focus on sustainability.
