There’s always something in the spotlight at The Lights, a mixed-use entertainment, residential and commercial plaza in West Fargo.
The Lights plays host to a variety of events that fit fun-seekers of any age, including concerts, theater performances, art shows, a splash pad, community picnics, and more. In addition, there’s space available to rent for your own family gathering.
The fun happens all year long, too. In 2022, The Lights transformed into an ice rink for winter activities, including the popular West Fargo Winter Classic, a hockey tournament hosted by West Fargo high schools and youth teams from five states.

Our newsroom occasionally reports stories under a byline of “staff.” Often, the “staff” byline is used when rewriting basic news briefs that originate from official sources, such as a city press release about a road closure, and which require little or no reporting. At times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
