COOKS –Big Bay de Noc Volleyball walks into labor day weekend with a 25-8, 25-12, 25-13 home win over Munising Baptist on Thursday.
“We’ve been working really hard on being more aggressive at the net and it really showed tonight,” Black Bears coach Angie Carley said. “We worked really well together. We called the ball, we didn’t let our mistakes take over our positive mentality and we were able to end the night with a win.”
Lila Morris finished with a team-best nine kills. Caragan Thill earned six kills. Camryn Pederson tallied four kills and amassed a whopping 12 aces. Payton Pederson earned three kills and seven aces.
The Black Bears travel to Superior Central on Tuesday.
