BIG RAPIDS — The Big Rapids Police Department will be hosting its fourth annual Season of Giving 2023 gift drive which will benefit Family Bound of Mecosta County — an organization that assist foster, adoptive, and traditional families for children that range in age from newborn to 18 years-old.
The 2023 Season of Giving drive will be 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 9 at the Big Rapids Department of Public Safety, 435 N. Michigan Ave.
Santa will be on-site to accept donations and take pictures.
If unable to attend, people can drop off gifts at the Big Rapids Police Department from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The police department will also be hosting its Coffee with a Cop, proving opportunities for locals to meet and chat with local law enforcement.
Representatives from Family Bound will be on-site, as well, to answer questions if interested in becoming a foster parent.
