Paige Miller
BROCTON – Students of the month have been announced for November by the Brocton Central School.
Paige Miller was selected by the Brocton Middle School faculty and staff. She is an eighth-grader and resides in Portland with her parents Ryan and Jessica Miller.
She participates in softball, basketball and volleyball. She received a CCAA Honorable Mention for softball last season. She also participates in travel softball.
Paige plays the flute in Band. She has been named to the Honor Roll. Additionally, she volunteers with the local Little League program.
Her favorite class is Social Studies.
Joseph Watson
Paige plans to attend college in the future.
Joseph Watson was selected by the Brocton High School faculty and staff.
Watson is a junior and resides in Brocton. He recently joined the Running Club and placed fourth in their semi-annual 5K race. He hopes to join in the spring to continue improving his run time.
In his free time, he likes to play video games, hang out with friends and do jigsaw puzzles. He also owns a telescope and observes the stars, planets and the moon.
His favorite class is Science.
In the future, Joseph plans to attend trade school to pursue a career as an electrician.
