USTFCCCA Rankings
Colorado State will face a majority of teams ranked in the latest USTFCCCA National Coaches Poll this week at the Nuttycombe. The men will run in a field of 35 teams where 31 are either ranked or receiving votes. The women, who currently rank No. 29, will face 33 teams with 24 of them currently ranked or receiving votes. Both No. 1 ranked teams in the nation, No. 1 Northern Arizona for the men and No. 1 NC State for the women, will be in attendance at the Nuttycombe Friday.

Regional Rankings
Colorado State women are No. 7 in this week’s USTFCCCA Mountain Regional Rankings and will race against five out of the six teams ranked above them in the rankings this week. The men are ranked No. 8 and will also see six out of seven team ranked above them this Friday.
Coming Back
Colorado State returns to the Nuttycombe Invitational for the eighth season in a row as the Rams competed a season ago with the women’s team finishing 17th at the men’s team placing 18th. On the women’s side, Colorado State boast four returners from last years Nuttycombe team – Emily Chaston, Quinn McConnell, Anna Petr and Sarah Carter who led the women last season finishing 62nd. For the men, Mason Brown, Lars Mitchel, Tom Oates and Michael Mooney will return to action.

After the Nuttycombe Invitational, the Rams will take the week off from competition to prepare for the Mountain West Championship Meet which will take place October 27 in Eagle, Idaho.
