A Coudersport couple suffered suspected major injuries in a crash Friday afternoon on US Route 15 in Cogan House Township, state police said.

Gale M. Thomason, 65, and John E. Thomason, 63, we’re traveling north in the left lane at 3:22 p.m. and tried to change from the left lane to the right when they’re trailing unit became disconnected and they lost control.

The vehicle entered into a skid and partially entered the right lane, returning to the left lane which caused the trailer unit to overturn, police said. Those at the scene said the driver, a long time medical doctor in Potter County, was hauling a camper.
