Game over Electronic Entertainment Expo

(CNN) — The electronic entertainment expo is officially dead. The video-game trade group entertainment software association — says E-3 is over. The convention wasn’t able to recover after the COVID-19 pandemic. It was canceled in 2020, then virtual in 2021.

Before being canceled again in 2022 and 2023. Now it is shutting down for good after nearly three decades.
The association says the last in-person e-three in 2019 attracted 66-thousand attendees.
