Marvin Musquin to miss entire 2024 Supercross season

Date:

Marvin Musquin announced on Instagram that he will miss the entire 2024 Monster Energy Supercross series as he continues to recover from a wrist injury suffered in practice ahead of the 2023 San Diego round.

“Hi everyone,” Musquin said in the post. “Many of you are wondering what I’m up to and what my plans are for the next couple months.

“What I know for sure is that I won’t be racing the 2024 US Supercross series. I have been taking some good time off to heal my last injury.

“It’s been fun to get back on the bike and I love riding. I will give you more news as soon as I can. In the meantime I hope to see you at the track for some fun.”

Musquin did not provide a timeline for his return following the 2023 San Diego injury, but soon announced he would skip the remainder of the season.

Musquin also missed the 2020 season due to injury before returning in 2021 to finish ninth. He was part of the championship hunt for most of 2022 before ultimately slipping back to fourth in the closing rounds. Last year his only start resulted in a modest 12-place finish.

Musquin will turn 35 in December, an age considered by many to be near the end of a SuperMotocross career.
