Men’s Swimming and Diving Completes First Day of Big Al Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. – The men’s swimming and diving team completed the first day of competition at the Big Al Invitational on Friday night in New Jersey. 

DAY ONE
Columbia kicked things off with a sixth-place finish in the 200-free relay, as the team of Zion James, Samuel Eckert, René Strezenicky, and Noah Czelusta finished with a time of 1:20.42. 

Adam Wu won the B finals of the 500-free, finishing with a time of 4:22.87.

Zion James placed seventh in the 50-free with a time of 20.22

DIVING
Meanwhile, Joseph Nicol had a solid performance in the men’s 1m dive. He won the B finals with a score of 277.55. 

ON DECK
The prelims of day two of the Big Al Invitational begin tomorrow at 10:00 a.m.
