MFA Financial appointed Michael Roper as chief financial officer, effective at the close of business on Friday.
The specialty finance company said Monday Roper succeeds Stephen Yarad, who is resigning to become CFO of another company.
Roper joined MFA in 2014 and has served as senior vice president and chief accounting officer since January 2019 and December 2021, respectively. He will continue in these roles.
