MARQUETTE — Tickets are on sale for the mid-September induction of the Class of 2023 into the Northern Michigan University Sports Hall of Fame.
The ceremony begins at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 15, with a social and dinner in the Northern Center ballrooms. Tickets, which must be purchased by Wednesday, Sept. 6, are $35 for adults and $25 for children ages 12 and under.
The inductees will also be recognized at halftime of the Wildcats’ homecoming football game against Wisconsin-La Crosse, which takes place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16, in the Superior Dome.
The inductees are hockey player Dean Antos, cross country and track and field athlete Kameron Burmeister, football player Jovan Dewitt, wrestler Robert Fehrs, nordic skier Halvor Maartmann and the 1979-80 and 1980-81 men’s basketball teams.
