ROSEMONT, Ill.

– Graduate student Kailie Vongsaga of Ohio State has been named Big Ten Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week for tournaments played Oct. 15-17.

  • Became the fourth Big Ten golfer this season to capture an individual title, shooting a 214 for a one-stroke victory at the Dayton Flyer Invitational held Oct. 16-17
  • Shot par-or-better on 47 of 54 holes on the North Course at the NCR Country Club in Kettering, Ohio
  • Led throughout the final round, beating out a field of 71 golfers, in recording her lowest tournament score as a Buckeye
  • The University of Arizona transfer earns her first Big Ten weekly golf award
