Patrick Mahomes will have a familiar face back in the huddle. The Chiefs are acquiring wide receiver Mecole Hardman from the New York Jets. In exchange, the Jets will receive a 2025 sixth-round pick for a 2025 seventh-rounder. The Jets signed Hardman to a one-year, four-million-dollar contract this offseason, but he has only played 28 offensive snaps and caught one pass this season. Kansas City initially selected Hardman in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Georgia. In four seasons with the Chiefs, the 25-year-old caught 151 passes for over two thousand yards and 16 touchdowns.
