Pfizer in 2022 significantly increased its U.S.-booked air volume
from $2.8 million the year prior. Pfizer fully returned to the office during
the first quarter of 2023. The pharmaceutical giant has stressed purposeful
travel and increased travel justification requirements from pre-pandemic
levels.

Pfizer did not institute any travel program
changes in 2022 and remains focused on its environmental, social
and governance goals for both corporate travel and meetings.

Pfizer has pledged to reduce its
carbon emissions 25 percent from a 2019 baseline by 2025. To achieve its ESG
goals, the company continues to use digital tools to streamline corporate
travel.

Of Pfizer’s U.S.-booked air volume in 2022, 38 percent was for
domestic travel and 52 percent was for internal travel.
