Murray State volleyball will make trips to Bradley and Illinois State, Friday and Saturday.
 
The Racers are currently third in the Missouri Valley Conference standings with a 5-2 conference record and 11-5 overall record. This will be their second meeting with Bradley and Illinois State in the season.
 
MSU swept Bradley in their last meeting while losing to the Redbirds in five sets.
 
Notes

  • Murray State goes into the weekend with a three-match win streak three-match winning streak after wins over SIU and Missouri State.
  • The Racers are first in the conference in digs (16.87/set) and second in kills (14.19), just behind UNI.
  • Darci Metzger was named MVC Player of the Week after her performance at SIU and Missouri State. She is second in the MVC in kills (4.53/set).
  • Bailey DeMier leads the conference in assists (11.19/set), sixth in the nation.
  • Dahlia Miller is second in the conference in digs (5.56/set).
  • Haidi Miliou is fourth in MVC in hitting percentage (.363).
  • Metzger made 6.43 kills per set last weekend. She made 7 per set against SIU.
  • Last time against Bradley, MIliou posted a career-high 15 kills with a .591 hitting percentage, while DeMier made 40 assists to average 13.33 per set.

 
Opponents
Bradley
The Braves are 0-6 in conference play and have a 7-12 overall record. They are currently 11th in the conference standings.
 
Senior outside hitter Jasmine Green leads the Braves in kills with 160. They have the option of two setters, with senior Loren Scott leading the role with 353 assists and Corrie Brown being the alternate with 235 assists.
 
Dru Kuck led the Braves’ back row with 251 digs.
 
Illinois State
The Redbirds sit at fourth with a 4-2 conference record.
 
Sophomore outside hitter Aida Shadewald leads ISU’s offense with 212 kills, followed by sophomore middle blocker Hannah Reichensperger with 169 kills.
 
Emile Weber is Illinois State’s primary setter with 528 assists, while Mari Hinkle fortifies the back row with 293 digs.
