Song, dance, comedy shows highlight weekend entertainment – Chico Enterprise-Record

CHICO — Anyone looking for a enjoyable time this weekend can check out any one of these three upcoming entertainment events.

Tonight, the Winchester Goose and Atalanta Productions presents The Rat Pack Revue, an evening of song and dance featuring music from the 1950s and 1960s. Showgoers can enjoy a collection of unequaled performers. The music can call up a time of cocktail parties, jet setters and some of the best music ever produced from these decades. An amazing lineup of vocalists, performing with the Lorna Such Band, will be serving up a plethora of hits from Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin and more.

“This has been a labor of love for awhile. My co-producer, Mick Moore, and I have been dreaming of this show for almost three years now. We are excited to finally get to bring it to life,” said Kasandra Partain, owner and Chief Executive Officer of Atalanta Productions.

The show will be at Winchester Goose located at 824 Oroville Ave.. Doors open at 8 p.m. and the show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets can be bought at eventbrite. A pre-sale link can be found at https://shorturl.at/fxFPU. Ticket prices are $15 at the door or $60 for a table of four.

Gnarly Deli

On Saturday, Sept. 16 , check out Gnarly Deli’s “Bad Advice” comedy event, with a funny take on the famous advice column Dear Abby. Doors open at 7 p.m.

After that, the House of Unorthodox takes over with Macabre Cabaret, with doors opening at 9 p.m. Tickets can be found at gnarlydeli.square.site.

Chico State

Comedian Margaret Cho will be performing for her Live and Livid Tour at Laxson Auditorium at Chico State on Sunday, Sept. 17 at 7:30 pm. Tickets can be purchased at www.chicostatetickets.com.

Laxson Auditorum is located at 400 West First St.

Tickets prices are $63 for Tier A, $54 for Tier B and $40 for Tier C. Students can attend for $20 but there are limited student tickets.
