CHICAGO — The University of Chicago Athletics and Recreation department is excited to welcome Colin Terrill to its staff as the new Director of Sports Information and Promotions. Colin will begin his appointment at UChicago on October 2.
Terrill will lead the sports information and promotions efforts including news releases, game previews and recaps, feature stories and play an integral role in developing a communication plan for the department and work alongside the Director for Athletics Communications to provide comprehensive sports coverage and creative content for all 20 intercollegiate athletics programs.
“First of all, I would like to thank Director of Athletics and Recreation, Angie Torain and Deputy Athletics Director for Internal Operations, Erienne Roberts for the opportunity to help guide the Sports Information and Promotions at the University of Chicago into the next era,” said Terrill. “Growing up in Northwest Indiana, I know that the University is synonymous with excellence both in the classroom and athletics competition.”

“I am thrilled to have Colin join our team. Throughout the search process Colin displayed a deep care and compassion for the student-athlete experience, a capacity for creative problem solving, and innovative strategic thinking.
