UAHT has new vice chancellor of finance and administration

HOPE, Ark. — University of Arkansas at Hope-Texarkana has selected a new administrator.

Alumna Cheryl Shaw will be vice chancellor of finance and administration. She has 24 years of working as a certified public accountant and is excited to work for the university.

“I appreciate the opportunity to serve in this role to support UAHT’s continuing mission to foster student success and economic improvment,” Shaw said.

Shaw graduated from the school with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. Her husband also works for UAHT.

“My husband and I consider it an honor and a privilege to be part of the mission of the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana, and we know first-hand what a tremendous difference the college makes in the lives of students and in the community,” Shaw said.
