LAKE CHARLES- McNeese volleyball will look to bounce back from its first Southland Conference loss of the season it suffered at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi last Saturday when the Cowgirls host Lamar Thursday night, Oct. 5 in its “Battle of the Border” match. First serve is set for 6:30 p.m. at the Legacy Center.
The Cowgirls will travel to Hammond on Saturday, Oct. 7 for a 12 p.m. SLC match at Southeastern that will broadcast on ESPN+.
McNeese (6-12, 4-1 SLC) enters the match in a second-place tie in the league standings along with Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Houston Christian. Southeastern sits in first place with a 5-1 record heading into their Thursday home match against Houston Christian.
The Cowgirls enter Thursday’s match having won four of their last five matches including a non-conference home win against UL-Monroe.
