ROCHESTER, Mich. – Oakland Women’s Golf heads out to Central Michigan to take part in the annual Chippewa Invitational
This will be the fourth and last competition for the Golden Grizzlies this fall to wrap up the beginning of the 2023-24 season. Looking back into the last few competitions, Oakland secured first place at the Shirley Spork Invitational, second place at the A-Ga-Ming Invitational where sophomore Bridget Boczar made a record-breaking performance, and finally, the team had the opportunity to compete against top golf programs at the Mary Fossum Invitational in East Lansing.
Oakland will play through the whole roster on the course for the first time this fall season. The girls are set to compete against nine teams including Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Youngstown, Michigan, Ferris State, Chicago State, Detroit Mercy, University of Illinois Chicago, and Green Bay.
